Purpose of the Role

As a Retail Floor Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to support the day-to-day operations on the shop floor. You will play a key role in making sure our customers have a pleasant and efficient shopping experience. From assisting with product queries to maintaining a neat and welcoming store environment, your work will contribute directly to the success of the store and satisfaction of our valued clientele.

This position is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic, approachable, physically fit, and enjoys being on their feet while engaging with people throughout the day. You will be working closely with other team members and store managers to ensure that every customer leaves our store satisfied.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Assistance: Provide outstanding assistance to customers on the shop floor. This includes listening carefully to their needs, guiding them to the correct products, and offering informed suggestions based on product knowledge.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our wide range of electrical, electronics, and tools products so that you can confidently and accurately assist customers with their inquiries.
  • Sales Support: Encourage and support the sale of products through your friendly attitude and helpful demeanor. Help drive store performance by identifying customer needs and recommending relevant solutions.
  • Store Maintenance: Help keep the retail floor clean, organized, and stocked. Work with the team to ensure that displays are neat and products are properly shelved and labeled according to company guidelines.
  • Team Collaboration: Cooperate and communicate effectively with your colleagues to keep the workflow smooth and efficient. Contribute to a positive team environment where everyone supports one another.
  • Adherence to Policies: Follow all in-store policies and safety procedures to ensure a safe and professional environment for both customers and employees.
